Each and every moment
Where we breathe and touch and see
Is a state of grace. A harmonious
miracle of life, love and serendipity.
The mundane, everyday and ordinary,
The rain that falls upon the glass,
Is something to be appreciated
Tiny, delicate moments not engineered to last
We take these things for granted,
The sun that rises, does go on to set,
Yet it is a flawed, teetering pact. A cobweb
of fragile filaments, easily upset
So live and laugh and love today
For who knows what comes apace.
These moments that we share, my friends
They are in a state of bless’ed grace.
